Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site is a bedtime book with a unique setting — a construction site. While this might not appeal to every child, it’s a safe bet that kids who are fascinated with vehicles — particularly cranes, cement trucks and the like — will love the book.

The rhyming text flows and reads easily, and manages to teach the kids (and their parents!) the names and functions of the different kinds of vehicles that one can find in a construction site. After a few readings, don’t be surprised if both you and your child can confidently name these vehicles and tell them apart — “Diggers? Bah! You mean excavators!”
