Hippo Says “Excuse Me” by Michael Dahl and Oriol Vidal

Hippo Says “Excuse Me” is a story that is told as much by the pictures as it is by the words in it. The premise is a baby hippo saying “Excuse me” to the other animals rather comically as he squeezes his way past them in various situations.

It also ends on a nice note, with the baby hippo β€” of all animals β€” making room for a little bird in the elevator, saying, “There’s always room for one more”.
