A deceptively simple book about the power of imaginative play, Not a Box is about a bunny and his brown box — or “not-a-box!” as he retorts to the unseen person(s) badgering him about what he is doing with it.


This is a book for kids who enjoy pretend play, since they can identify with the indignance and exasperation of the bunny, who has to constantly explain its actions to an unimaginative audience.
