Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me features an impressive fold-out centre page that illustrates the crazy lengths (and heights) that some daddies will go to for their (lucky) little girls.
In this case, the girl in question wanted to play with the moon, and so, that’s what her dad did — he got the moon down for her, at least for a while. While the idea of different phases of the moon is simplified in the story, it’s kind of a nice, whimsical way to think about it that way.
