Little White Rabbit is a simple, adorable book that celebrates childlike wonder and imagination, as well as the warmth and security that a family provides.
As the titular protagonist hops around exploring his environment, he imagines what it would be like to be green, among other things. But when he encounters something somewhat threatening, he quickly hops back home to the safety of his loved ones.
Each scenario that has been simply described in a single sentence is followed by a gorgeous two-page full-bleed illustration of the little white rabbit’s vivid imagination brought to life, and the entire book is awash in pretty pastel colours that are a sight for sore eyes.
While the text is simplistic, this book was a big hit with my daughter who loved the artwork and regularly asked for it to be read over a few weeks. Worth checking out for the sweet illustrations alone.
