Worms for Lunch? by Leonid Gore

Styled as a mini investigation of sorts, Worms for Lunch? begins by asking just that: “Who eats worms for lunch?” which immediately sets the reader thinking.

Instead of simply providing the answer, however, the author uses this teaser to kick off an amusing round-robin-style procession of animals and what they eat, eventually leading us back to the answer for the first question.

The cheerful illustrations and cheeky text are also complemented by numerous well-thought-out flaps and cutouts, which all combine to create an interactive, light-hearted and enjoyable reading experience.
