One, Two, Where’s My Shoe? by Tomi Ungerer

A reprint of the original 1964 vintage edition, this almost-wordless book by gives a twist to the popular nursery rhyme by challenging readers to look for — not buckle — the shoes that have been creatively disguised in the witty illustrations.


It took a little while for the kids to get the idea, but once they did, they had fun pointing out the various hidden footwear at an impressive speed — and asked to reread the book a number of times just so they could do it all over again (and again)…
