The Curious Little Witch by Lieve Baeten

Lizzy and her cat are flying around on her broomstick when they spot a house with the lights still on. Being a curious little witch, she can’t resist taking a peek but accidentally crashes inside.

With half-page flaps to peek under and beautiful warm, detailed illustrations of the mysterious house and its magical occupants, every page of The Curious Little Witch begs to be pored over and explored by curious little readers!

p.s. This book is one of several picture books on Lotje the curious little witch that were originally published in Flemish, German and French, and then later translated into English by #NorthSouthBooks. Unfortunately, I read on the book jacket that the talented award-winning author-illustrator was tragically killed in a car accident in 2001. RIP, Lieve Baeten.
